The care you & your ‘ladies’ have provided Mum has been outstanding in recent months as her needs have changed. At the beginning she would not accept help & consequently became very frustrated with herself. As a result of the considerate care & support she has received Mum has been able to continue to live in her own home & believe she is doing so independently. You have her family’s gratitude for this.

Able Living is dependable, caring and does exactly what they say they will do at the time they say they will do it. If there is a problem they attend to it immediately and communication is excellent.
The Carers are really kind and care about their clients. They take care to provide for their clients and go beyond what is expected.
I only have personal experience of one other care company like Able Living and Able Living knocks spots off the other company. The support given to the whole family is exceptional.

Mum has taken a while to come to terms with having assistance with her daily needs due to a fall. She has liked all the carers who have been in to support her since Jan 2022.
Being a local care company has been great as you can always pop into the office to pay cheques.
They are also very flexible with the care package and I am able to cancel care when I am up to see mum. The company have always promoted independence and we have been able to reduce mums support as her health has improved. I can’t thank Able Living enough for the support they are giving my mum.
My mother has only been receiving care from Able Living since the beginning of May but we have been very pleased with their services. From initial information gathering and setting up the contract through to being able to access the online care plan and communication with the office and their lovely care staff. Everyone has treated mum with respect and gentle care, they have understood her dementia and mobility needs and have given her confidence and trust in their visits.

I have been very happy with the care that my mum has received over the last 6 months. All the staff were very attentive, caring and professional in their interactions with my mum and myself. As I live out of the area I found the use of text, WhatsApp and email very useful. Also reassuring to me was the ability to read the staffs daily notes on my mum each evening after work using the cloud based reporting system.

to my husband over the past 8 months. When we arrived in Poynton last March,
it was very reassuring to meet you so promptly and to get a care plan
organised so quickly for him.The carers who looked after him were reliable, meticulous and
skilful. They were kind, concerned and cheerful, always ready to help.
They kept me up to date and were careful to follow the guidance of the District Nurses.He was always treated with respect, and always given the time he needed.
They always asked after him on arrival, and listened carefully to me
to make sure they were fully updated. Their recording system and the
software for family use was easy to use and efficient.I am so thankful that my husband was able to stay at home with me until the
end of his life. I could not have managed without Able Living and as a

My mum (aged 91 years) moved to Poynton to live near me in a retirement apartment in 2018. She is in good physical health but has early onset dementia (which she refuses to acknowledge) but is fearlessly independent, and is not very sociable. Although she wouldn’t admit it, she needed help when I was away.
Able living stepped in to take her shopping twice a week so she didn’t run out of food ( on the pretext that they carried the heavy stuff), and were there to remind her why I wasn’t there, and to stay for a cup of tea afterwards. It has helped me enormously to cope.
My neighbour also has Able living every day to help with her personal care to enable her to live independently in her own home. They are very flexible and understand all aspects of individual care and support needs.
I would highly recommend Able Living Care Services.
